The IsDB: innovative knowledge-based solutions to support sustainable development

The SCIEF-Casa Árabe Observatory of Islamic Finance in Spain organized this meeting to introduce the work of the Islamic Development Bank Institute and the possibilities of collaboration it brings for developmental projects based on Islamic finance in Spain and Europe. It counted on the participation of Yahya Rehman, Global Lead Islamic Finance Advisory, IsDB Institute, Islamic Development Bank Group.

The Islamic Development Bank Institute (IsDBI), previously known as IRTI, is the knowledge beacon of the Islamic Development Bank Group. Guided by the principles of Islamic economics and finance, the IsDBI is mandated to lead the development of innovative knowledge-based solutions to support the sustainable economic advancement of the 57 IsDB Member Countries and various Muslim communities worldwide.

The SCIEF-Casa Árabe Observatory of Islamic Finance in Spain is a group for analysis and consultation to expand knowledge about the current state of Islamic finance. It includes the main experts, consultants, law firms and banking institutions working with or being specialized in the subject in Spain.

The conference will be opened to the members of the SCIEF-Casa Árabe Observatory of Islamic Finance in Spain and other institutions and experts interested in the issue upon personal invitation.
