The event will delve into theories of sustainability and Islamic finance, highlighting the successful efforts of businesses, banks, NGOs, governments and multilateral agencies in creating sustainable solutions. These replicable and scalable solutions will serve as valuable lessons for others.
The conference will address water, food, and energy security, along with advancements in Islamic social finance to tackle social, food, and water-related concerns. The role of commercial finance, multinational development banks such as the Islamic Development Bank Group, and the private sector will be explored, focusing on overcoming challenges in energy, agriculture, food, and water management in fragile environments.
The conference consists of 6 different sections, combining keynote speeches and panel discussions with members of Saudi organisations, international organisations and companies, to discuss different approach and cases of study on the subjects.
