Speaker: Dr. Tanvir Uddin
Impact Investing | Responsible Finance | Sustainability Entrepreneur

Dr. Tanvir Uddin loves innovating at the intersection of access to financial services, technology and sustainability. He is the Founder & CEO of the Wholesum Responsible Fund which helps investors obtain competitive returns and positive societal impact through investing in small business and microfinance assets. Previously, Tanvir was Co-Founder and CFO of Vyro, a sustainable mobility platform that uses technology to accelerate the transition to electric vehicles. He is a former management consultant at McKinsey and a Commercial Manager at Australia's leading green fintech, Brighte.

Tanvir holds a PhD from the University of Sydney where he examined the intersection of Islamic law and sustainable development through microfinance programs. He also holds First-Class Honours degrees from the University of New South Wales where he was a Scientia Scholar. Tanvir completed a Masters of Islamic Finance from IE Business School as part of the Islamic Development Bank’s Islamic Finance Talent Development Program.
