The Saudi-Spanish Center for Islamic Economics and Finance (SCIEF) is recognized worldwide as a hub for the study and promotion of Islamic finance, which is based on an alternative and ethical financial system. The Center was launched in 2009 with the mission to be a hub for research, teaching, applying and promoting Islamic economics and finance amongst Spanish, Saudis and international businesses, governments and future leaders.
The Center activities are based on four pillars: Academic Development, International Awareness, Research and Engaging Business Community.
SCIEF leverages from the experience of its partners: The King Abdulaziz University, IE Business School and The Islamic Development Bank. The activities range from developing course material, through leadership, producing publications, conducting executive training on contemporary issues and raising awareness through our think tank series on Islamic finance and the future of alternative financing in business.
Follow our activities through our social media in Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Youtube. You are more than welcome to participate with us in our Center!
