Dr. Tareef bin Yousuf Alama, has been appointed as new President of King Abdulaziz University (KAU).
Prior to assuming this position, Dr. Tareef was the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Therapeutic Services.
He did his undergraduate from Western University of Canada, and Graduation from King Abdulaziz University.
He was also a medical consultant with various hospitals in KSA. He obtained the American and Canadian fellowships in internal medicine.
